Where to Get Your Same-Day Entry Pass

At the first-floor entrance of Starbucks Reserve Roastery Tokyo, there is a sign requesting visitors to obtain a same-day entry pass, along with a display showing the current entry pass number being admitted.
On weekdays, when there are fewer visitors, you may be able to enter without an entry pass. However, on weekends and public holidays, when the number of visitors increases significantly, issuing a same-day entry pass is required.
To issue a same-day entry pass, simply move a short distance to the left along the exterior wall when facing the entrance from the front.

A designated area for issuing same-day entry passes is located at the end of the Starbucks Reserve Roastery Tokyo building.
When I arrived, many visitors had already gathered around the area to issue their entry passes or check their queue numbers. Since this section can become quite crowded during busy hours, it is helpful to locate the issuing area as soon as you arrive.

It does not involve issuing a physical paper ticket. Instead, you scan the QR code displayed on the glass door of the building with your smartphone and follow the instructions on the webpage that opens to complete the registration.
At first, I thought there would be a separate location specifically for issuing the entry pass, so even when I saw the sign indicating the issuing area, I could not find the actual place and ended up looking around for quite some time.

The QR code located beneath the label “Ticket Booth” is the code used to issue a same-day entry pass for Starbucks Reserve Roastery Tokyo. The QR code shown in the attached photo can be scanned with your smartphone, but please use it only when you are actually issuing a same-day entry pass.

Tips for Visiting Starbucks Reserve® Roastery Tokyo
1. Enjoy shopping while waiting
While waiting for your turn after issuing the same-day entry pass, I recommend shopping at Don Quijote located nearby. There are signs advising not to wait around the Starbucks Reserve Roastery Tokyo, and the surrounding area includes road traffic, which can be dangerous.
2. Make a reservation the day before
You can enter with a same-day entry pass, but if your schedule is already decided, please note that entry reservations are available only on the day before your visit.
3. Allow plenty of time for your visit
Depending on the day’s crowd level, the waiting time may become long, so it is recommended to allow sufficient time for your visit.
4. Cancel your spot if you cannot enter
If you find that you will not be able to enter, please cancel your spot for the sake of guests waiting after you. The cancellation button is located at the bottom of the waiting-status webpage.
