1. Digital Sushiro Vision
At the Dotonbori branch, a large touch screen known as the “Digital Sushiro Vision” (commonly called Dejiro) is installed. Instead of actual sushi circulating on a conveyor belt, customers place orders by touching sushi that rotates on the screen.
2. Dotonbori-Exclusive Menu
The Dotonbori branch also offers branch-exclusive menu items. These include carefully selected wild-caught sushi and udon dishes. In particular, the roll sushi is designed with international tourists in mind.
3. Unique Interior Design
The Dotonbori branch features an interior design that differs from other locations. The atmosphere and spatial layout reflect a distinctive concept, allowing visitors to experience Sushiro in a more unique setting.
4. Support in Four Languages
Located in the well-known tourist area of Namba and Dotonbori in Osaka, the branch supports menus in four languages: Japanese, English, Chinese, and Korean. It provides a convenient environment for international visitors.
5. Slightly Higher Prices
As of the date of this post, many other branches start at 150 yen, while the Dotonbori branch starts at 160 yen. Although the prices may seem slightly higher, considering its location and store features, it offers corresponding value.

Check-in and Seating Process

When you enter the restaurant, you first check in using the touch screen. If seats are available, move to the table number printed on your ticket and take your seat. If the restaurant is full, you will be called via an automated announcement and the monitor.
The check-in screen supports four languages, and the process can be completed easily by following the on-screen instructions.

This is the table guide map of Sushiro Dotonbori. Please refer to it when visiting.
The red triangle on the map indicates the current location.

Please proceed to the table number printed on the ticket you received at check-in.
Keep the ticket, as it is required when making payment.

Items needed for your meal, such as cups, wet wipes, seasonings including salt, as well as children’s plates and forks or spoons, are available throughout the restaurant. Please use them as needed.
How to Order Using the Large Screen

First, choose your preferred design from the three background options.
Next, select whether to play Sushiro’s game, “Dakkosushi Game,” and then press the start button. The game is free to play.

Sushi rotates on the large screen. If you see something you would like to eat, simply tap the sushi displayed on the screen to place your order.

You can also switch screens and browse the menu like a digital menu board.
However, since the screen is very large, you may need to ask the person sitting opposite you for assistance if the item you want is displayed far away.

You can also split the ordering screen into two sections so that each person can choose their menu separately. Personally, I recommend this method.
For demonstration purposes, I changed the screen language to Korean as an example.

At Sushiro Dotonbori, you simply select your menu on the large screen, choose the quantity, and press the order button to complete your order. The process is straightforward and easy for anyone to use.
After placing your order, the food will arrive via the conveyor belt shortly.
Dakkosushi Slot Game Guide

Among conveyor-belt sushi chains in Japan, many brands have introduced game systems. Once you order a certain number of plates, the game starts automatically.
Sushiro’s “Dakkosushi Slot” works by matching three identical symbols. If three of the same images line up, you win.

If you win the game, the prize is also placed on a plate and delivered via the conveyor belt, just like the food.
Menu Highlights at the Dotonbori Branch

Although it may not be fully conveyed in photos, the sushi at Sushiro Dotonbori is satisfying in both size and quality when seen in person. While the prices are slightly higher, you can enjoy a wide variety of well-prepared sushi.

In addition to sushi, there is a wide selection of meal options such as udon and ramen, as well as various desserts, making it suitable for everyone to enjoy.
Payment Process

Sushiro Dotonbori operates on a self-checkout system. Payment can be made by cash, barcode payment, or credit card. Please note that credit card payments are available for one-time payment only.
Sushiro Dotonbori is a special branch that offers experiences different from typical Sushiro locations, including a large-screen ordering system and Dotonbori-exclusive menu items. Located in the center of the Namba and Dotonbori tourist area, it is easily accessible, and with multilingual support and a self-checkout system, international visitors can use it comfortably. If you would like to enjoy a unique conveyor-belt sushi experience in Osaka, Sushiro Dotonbori is worth visiting.
